Choose an Event
To create ballots, you must first access the EVENT LIST. Once you choose an event, you will be able to create ballots for that event. Ballots are NOT saved across events like competition classes and elements.
Ballot Setup
Once in the "Voting" area, you can create as many ballots as you want. Each ballot will have a few attributes.
- There are two types of ballots; one for people and one for submissions (e.g. vehicles or animals, etc.).
- The voting window for each ballot is the SAME even though you can change the window from ANY ballot
- Set your ballot so that it can be voted on by a) contestants, b) spectators or c) both groups.
- You can give each voter 1 or more votes on that ballot.
- You can decide when and if you want to display the results.
Who Can Enter the Contest?
Any contestant registered for your event is eligible to submit their vehicle/animal/submission for consideration into any ballot. Presumably, your contestants understand that their submission should be the kind that is contemplated by the ballot (e.g. don't submit a jet into a "Best WWI Airplane" ballot).
IMPORTANT: A registered contestant who is not competing in any scoring classes you may have setup, will automatically be classified as a "Voting Only" contestant, making them eligible to compete in your voting contests.
